Description
Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and complete VAT returns with full reconciliations.
Analyse variances against budget and provide insightful commentary.
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and ad hoc reporting.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and drive profitability and cost-control insights.
Lead rollout of the purchase order process and support optimisation of Continia Document Capture, Expense Management, Creditsafe, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (approvals, workflows, validation rules, posting restrictions).
Support the Finance Director with internal-control framework development and external audit readiness.
Train finance and operational teams in new systems and processes and produce user guides/SOPs.
Profile
· ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified.
· Strong understanding of management accounting principles and SME finance operations.
· Strong process improvement and communication skills
· Proficient in accounting software MS365, Business Central (preferred)
