Description
*Plan, perform, and complete audit assignments in line with relevant standards.
*Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.
*Communicate effectively with clients to address queries and provide audit findings.
*Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
*Identify and resolve audit-related issues during engagements.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audit regulations and accounting practices.
*Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met efficiently.
*Assist in the development of audit strategies and methodologies.
Profile
A successful Audit Senior should have:
*Fully qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA.
*Experience auditing an SME client base (up to £50m t/o).
*Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
*A proactive approach to managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
*The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
