Tax - shape how a business operates internationally

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Tax & Global Mobility Specialist to join a high growth business in North Yorkshire.

This newly created position sits at the heart of a company expanding rapidly across Europe — and you’ll be the specialist ensuring their people can move, work, and get paid compliantly and confidently.

As the organisation takes on major projects across Europe, the tax and mobility workload has surged. This is a critical role and you’ll be the link between tax, global mobility, payroll, HR and operations, bringing much-needed capability and freeing up senior leaders to focus on strategic priorities.

What you’ll be doing*Owning end-to-end global mobility processes, with a focus on outbound European assignments.
*Coordinating deployment for workers per project, ensuring immigration and compliance steps are completed.
*Leading technical payroll operations including shadow payroll, reconciliations, tax equalisation and Appendix 5 processes.
*Acting as the subject-matter expert between payroll and tax, supporting employees on tax code and project queries.
*Working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Legal, Ops and external advisors to maintain compliance and process discipline.
