Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a growing, modern Top 100 accountancy firm in Manchester that continues to invest in its advisory capability and client relationships. Due to ongoing growth, the firm is now looking to recruit an Accounts Senior or Accounts Manager to join their established and progressive team.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a substantial client portfolio. You will act as a trusted advisor and key point of contact, engaging regularly with clients to provide proactive, practical advice tailored to their individual and business circumstances. Given the nature of the portfolio, the role will suit someone comfortable dealing with complex financial affairs, and regulated environments, with a high level of client interaction.
There will be opportunities to mentor and develop junior team members, review work, and contribute to workflow management as the team continues to grow.
The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or qualified by experience, with a strong background in accounts compliance within an accountancy practice. Excellent communication skills, and the confidence to build long-term client relationships are essential.
