MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious engineering client in their 2026 recruitment initiative with the recruitment of a permanent Offshore Decommissioning Manager to strengthen their team. If you are an experienced Offshore Engineer/Manager with proven decommissioning experience, apply now for an immediate response!
The job you’ll do:
*Lead offshore decommissioning projects from cradle to grave
*Drive delivery excellence between clients, subcontractors, site teams, and senior management
*Taking ownership of business development, tendering, delivery, and completion.
*Build and deepen existing client relationships across all areas of the business
*Take ownership of tendering activity - pricing and coordinating submissions
*Support the commercial teams with valuations and identify any variations early
*Maintain programmes and present reports at client progress meetings
*Contribute to weekly ops meetings, chair meetings with Site Management
*Ensure contractual and legislative compliance
*Embed safe systems of work (RAMS, POWRAs, daily briefings etc.)
*Collaborate with HSE, Environmental, Technical, Commercial and Bid teams
About you:
*3+ years’ experience in offshore decommissioning projects at management level
*Relevant Engineering qualifications (Degree, HNC, HND, NVQ) or equivalent experience
*The ability to build credibility with clients and partners
*Experience tendering and coordinating submissions
*Strong project management skills from early stages through to completion
*Familiarity with RAMS and site safety leadership
