Job Description:
Spencer Clarke Tutors are currently looking for a experienced 1:1 SEND Tutor to support students through personalised tuition.
The role involves providing one-to-one tuition either in the child’s home or in a community setting such as a library. You will be working in partnership with Oldham Local Authority to help learners achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities * Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 tuition sessions
* Carry out baseline assessments to identify individual learning needs
* Plan and prepare structured lessons suited to SEND learners
* Complete and submit weekly progress reports
* Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of additional needs
Requirements * Experience working with SEND learners is essential
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own timetable
*QTS is desirable
Pay Rate * £30-£35 per hour, depending on experience
