Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be supporting a market-leading manufacturing business in the appointment of a QHSE Manager to join their senior leadership team.
As QHSE Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the site operates to the highest standards of product quality, employee safety, and environmental responsibility. You’ll lead the development and delivery of a robust management system aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and AS9100 standards, while championing a culture of accountability and proactive risk management.
Working closely with the Site Leadership Team, this is a hands-on and highly visible role where you will influence at every level — from the shop floor to the boardroom.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: *Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management Systems.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant UK legislation, standards, and corporate policies.
*Drive a proactive safety culture by embedding robust risk assessment, training, and incident investigation processes.
*Oversee audit programmes (internal and external) to maintain ISO and AS certification standards.
*Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance product quality, safety performance, and environmental stewardship.
*Lead non-conformance management and structured root cause analysis, driving measurable improvements in product quality, safety performance, and cost of poor quality.
*Support ESG and sustainability initiatives to reduce waste, energy consumption, and environmental impact.
*Partner with operational teams to deliver QHSE training and coaching, building ownership and capability across all levels of the organisation.
*Provide clear reporting and data-driven insights to senior management to support business decisions and continual improvement.
I’m keen to speak to QHSE Manager’s with the following skillset: *Proven leadership experience in QHSE management within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
*Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ideally AS9100 management systems.
*NEBOSH General Certificate
*Additional qualifications such as IEMA, Six Sigma Green Belt, or Lean Manufacturing background – advantageous.
*Excellent communication, influencing, and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and inspire cross-functional teams.
*A results-focused, continuous improvement mindset with the confidence to challenge and drive change.
