HR Manager
*Location: Crediton
*Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 p/a
*Full time Monday - Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm and Fridays 8:00am-2:00pm
*Interviews: Early March
Reed is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a strategic and hands-on HR Manager to join our client, a leader in the PCB manufacturing industry. This pivotal role offers the chance to drive high-performance culture and harmonise HR practices across the organisation, serving as a trusted advisor to the executive team.
Day-to-day of the HR Manager:
*Strategic Alignment: Design and implement HR development plans that align local initiatives with wider Group goals and strategic business plans.
*Departmental Leadership: Lead daily HR operations and provide management and mentorship to the Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator.
*Talent & Onboarding: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle and establish comprehensive induction programs for new hires.
*L&D & Performance: Identify learning needs and facilitate training in coordination with Group initiatives, utilising systems to monitor growth and ROI.
*Expert Advisory: Provide expert interpretation of HR performance data and metrics to the Managing Director and Executive Team.
*Compliance & Relations: Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures, maintaining expert knowledge of employment law.
*Fiscal Responsibility: Manage departmental expenditure, ensuring the HR function operates efficiently within agreed budgets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*CIPD Level 5 - essential
*Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in an HR Management role with a track record of leading teams and managing L&D functions.
*Group Experience: Ability to work within a Group structure, collaborating with Head Office and harmonising practices across different business units.
*Strategic Capability: Experience in designing HR strategies that drive attitudinal shifts and cultural development.
*Technical Expertise: Deep, up-to-date knowledge of employment law, legislative changes, and HR best practices.
*Analytical Skills: Ability to monitor and report on complex HR metrics and provide guidance on talent acquisition and retention.
*Professionalism: High standards of technical knowledge maintained through continuous personal development and networking.
