Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised School Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced school office team.

This is a front-facing, operational role and would suit a confident administrator who is already familiar with working in a school environment and can step into the role with minimal supervision.

Applicants must have previous experience using school management information systems, including SIMS, Bromcom or Arbor.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing professional and efficient administrative support to the school office and senior leadership team

Managing and maintaining pupil records using SIMS, Bromcom or Arbor

Supporting admissions, attendance, and data processes in line with school procedures

Acting as a first point of contact for parents, staff and visitors, both in person and by telephone

Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and general office communications

Supporting safeguarding and child protection administration, including accurate record keeping

Assisting with diary management, meetings and general school administration tasks

Ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience working in a school administrative role

Strong working knowledge of SIMS, Bromcom and Arbor

A clear understanding of school office procedures and safeguarding requirements

Excellent organisational and time-management skills

The ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy school environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Confidence working independently and prioritising competing demands

Important information:

This role requires an experienced School Administrator.
Training is not provided, and applicants must be able to carry out the duties of the role from the outset.
