Job Description:
Reed in Teesside are representing a Teesside based manufacturer who are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team. This role is crucial for driving sales and revenue growth across both global and UK markets, managing relationships with existing accounts, and developing new business opportunities.
This is a pivotal role, owning the sales strategy and execution for the brand, working closely with the senior management team to deliver ambitious growth targets.

*Working hours are 8.45 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday & 9: on a Friday
*Salary £30,000 plus OTE paid each quarter – OTE to be discussed at interview

*20 days A/L plus BH holidays increase per year after 3x years of service up to 25 days

Day-to-day of the role:
*Account Management & Growth:*Manage and develop strong relationships with existing customers, including international distributors and UK dealers.
*Drive sales growth through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic account development.
*New Business Development:*Identify and secure new distribution partners internationally.
*Build and expand their footprint in their field of work throughout the UK through supporting their UK dealer and direct practice sales in the North East of England.
*Sales Strategy & Execution:*Develop and implement a sales plan aligned with company growth objectives.
*Forecast and report on sales performance, pipeline, and market trends.
*Collaborate with marketing to support product launches, campaigns, and events.
*Team Leadership:*Manage and develop a member of the sales team, setting clear targets, providing coaching and support, and reviewing performance to ensure objectives are met.
*Representation:*Represent the brand at trade shows and exhibitions occasionally.
*Act as a brand ambassador to strengthen our presence and reputation in the community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven track record in sales, business development, or account management. Full training will be provided for candidates if they do not come from industry.
*Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive growth and negotiate effectively.
*Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
*Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently with accountability for targets.
*Willingness to travel both in the UK and internationally as required.
