Finance Assistant
Central London
8 month Fixed Term contract

Overview
A global venture capital firm is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their London office on an 8-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will work closely with the finance team, supporting the day-to-day operations across both the Corporate and Funds areas of the business.
Responsibilities:
*Manage supplier invoices and maintain accurate records in Sage
*Prepare and process supplier payments
*Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve queries
*Raise sales invoices and track outstanding payments
*Support credit control and debtor monitoring
*Oversee the expense system,Concur and review company card transactions
*Process expense claims and recharge costs where required
*Update cashflow forecasts and record bank transactions
*Complete bank reconciliations
*Review ledger activity and prepare month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, income)
*Update monthly cashflow movements
*Prepare regulatory announcements and board documents
*Support fund processes and data collation
Candidate Profile:
*A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
*Proven experience using Sage Accounting and advanced Excel skills
*Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Effective time management with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
*Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
