Job Description:
Warehouse Supervisor
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting and coordinating daily warehouse operations, including goods in, goods out, inventory management, and order preparation. Working within a small team, you’ll help ensure processes run smoothly, safety standards are maintained, and deliveries are completed efficiently.
This is a varied, operational role combining warehouse supervision, logistics coordination, and physical handling duties.
Key Responsibilities
*Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and stock management
*Prepare customer orders and organise pallets for dispatch
*Book outgoing pallets using internal logistics software
*Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and in line with procedures
*Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to and maintain a clean working environment
*Support and coordinate a small warehouse team
*Communicate clearly with internal colleagues, shipping agents, and suppliers
*Complete regular deliveries using a Luton van to a related business location
*Identify and support improvements to warehouse processes to increase efficiency and productivity
Skills & Experience
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory or managerial role
*Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory processes
*Forklift experience essential (valid certification desirable)
*Confident operating warehouse and logistics equipment
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
*Clear communicator who works well within a small team
*Full UK driving licence required (Luton van driving experience beneficial)
