Description
*Manage a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients, including owner-managed businesses and larger group structures
*Review corporation tax returns, computations, and work prepared by junior team members
*Provide guidance on corporate tax payments, quarterly instalments, and compliance requirements
*Support accounts and audit teams with tax calculations and technical input
*Review R&D claims and capital allowance schedules
*Identify tax planning opportunities and deliver practical advisory support
*Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients and assist with technical queries
*Attend client meetings and help maintain strong, long-term relationships
*Mentor and support junior staff development within the tax team
Profile
*Strong corporate tax experience gained within practice
*Confident communicator with the ability to build trusted client relationships
*Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
*Comfortable reviewing work and providing technical guidance
*Able to manage deadlines, prioritise workloads, and work independently
*Good working knowledge of MS Office; experience with tax software desirable
*Proactive mindset with a willingness to develop technically and professionally
