Job Description:
Accounts Assistant / Accounts Payable (Temporary)
Location: Chessington (Office-based)
Contract: Temporary - 3-4 months
Start: ASAP
Overview We are seeking a personable and reliable Accounts Assistant / Accounts Payable professional to support the finance function.You will work closely with the Finance team to ensure BAU tasks are handled effectively.
Experience with SAP is highly advantageous, and candidates with prior SAP exposure will be particularly well suited - however, strong AP experience using other finance systems will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities * Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
* Posting bank transactions and performing bank reconciliations
* Posting overhead and general ledger transactions
* Supporting accounts payable activities end-to-end
* Handling approximately 250 transactions per month
* Working with Excel to manage and reconcile financial data
* Supporting the finance team with general transactional duties as required
* Maintaining accurate records and controls during the system project period
Skills & Experience Required * Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Payable role
* SAP experience highly advantageous
* Experience with invoice posting, bank postings, and overhead postings
* Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, standard formulas)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good organisational skills and ability to manage routine workloads independently
* Confident and clear communicator
* Comfortable working in a small team environment
