Business Development Manager
?? Location: Midlands / Milton Keynes
?? Job Type: Full Time
?? Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving regional sales performance, identifying new opportunities and ensuring seamless delivery of solutions by collaborating closely with internal teams.
�? Key Responsibilities
*Drive new business growth through a high volume of quality client visits and meetings.
*Develop and execute regional strategies to expand the client base and maximise sales opportunities.
*Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
*Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities across target markets.
*Act as the primary contact for a strategic distribution partner in Ireland, nurturing and developing the partnership.
*Create, update, and own a regional business plan that adapts to changing market requirements.
*Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth integration of solutions for customers.
*Arrange, prepare, and deliver product demonstrations.
*Communicate product solutions clearly and confidently to prospective clients.
*Prepare quotations, manage a healthy sales pipeline, and provide accurate forecasting.
*Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
*Monitor competitor activity and provide regular market intelligence updates.
*Gather and share customer insights to support continuous product and service improvements.

*Proven experience generating new business and meeting structured visit/activity targets.
*Strong sales strategy skills with the ability to grow and retain a diverse customer base.
*Excellent relationship builder with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
*Confident identifying and pursuing opportunities in target markets.
*Skilled in managing channel partnerships, ideally with international elements.
*Able to develop and maintain a robust business plan for your territory.
*Comfortable working across functions to ensure strong service delivery.
*Experienced in conducting meetings, demonstrations, and presenting solutions.
*Strong communicator with the ability to prepare quotations and maintain a healthy pipeline.
*Target driven with a track record of achieving sales KPIs.
*Commercially aware, with the ability to track competitor activity and respond accordingly.
*Customer focused, always seeking insights to improve product offering and client satisfaction.
