Description
*Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
*Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
*Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring adherence to company policies.
*Maintain accurate records of purchase ledger transactions.
*Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries.
*Assist with month-end processes and reporting as required.
*Support the wider Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc tasks.
*Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company standards.
Profile
A successful Interim Purchase Ledger should have:
*Proven experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable roles - end to end.
*Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles within the retail industry.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
*Problem-solving skills to manage supplier queries and discrepancies.
*Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in financial records.
Job Offer
*Salary between £25,000 to £28,000.
