Exciting Opportunity for a Junior Accountant!
A leading and international business in the energy and shipping sector is seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant to join their Asset Management team in London.
Your Role: As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dedicated Finance Team. You’ll liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, take ownership of assigned accounting and financial tasks, and engage in some commercial responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
*Produce monthly/quarterly financial statements
*Create quarterly management accounts with variance analysis
*Perform bank reconciliations
*Prepare general ledger journals and manage postings
*Handle statutory and non-statutory annual reporting
*Prepare year-end audit files and supporting documentation
*Produce balance sheet and P&L forecasts for shareholder meetings
*Prepare budgets, long-term projections, and cash flow forecasts

What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking an individual who is:
*Previous accounting experience including preparing financial statements
*AAT qualified or currently studying
*Committed, reliable, and flexible.
*An excellent communicator and a team player.
*Able to navigate complex structures and adapt as needed.
