Drivers Mate - Livingston
People Solutions are currently recruiting for Drivers Mates to join our well-established client based in Livingston, supporting a busy furniture delivery company. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and physically fit individuals looking for full-time, ongoing work.
Shifts: Monday - Friday
*Start time from 6:00am
*44 hours per week
Rates of Pay: £12.21 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a Drivers Mate, your duties will include:
*Assisting the driver with furniture deliveries
*Heavy lifting of sofas, flooring and household furniture
*Manual handling of large and bulky items
*Supporting safe loading and unloading of vehicles
*Delivering items to customer’s homes in a professional manner
*Ensuring goods are handled carefully to prevent damage
Essential Skills:
The skills required as a Drivers Mate are:
*Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
*Reliable and punctual
*Good communication skills
*Positive, customer-focused attitude
*Ability to work as part of a team
Desirable Experience:
*Previous experience in furniture delivery, warehouse, removals or similar heavy manual roles is advantageous.
Training:
*Ongoing support and training provided.
