Job Description:
Social Worker - Adult Community Team / Mental Health / Preparation for Adulthood
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Locum Social Worker to join a dynamic and fast-paced Adult Community Team, supporting adults with a range of needs, including those transitioning through Preparation for Adulthood and individuals requiring Mental Health support.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will work within a busy duty-based environment, delivering high-quality statutory social work interventions while promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:
*Undertake Care Act Assessments and person-centred care planning
*Manage safeguarding enquiries and promote safe practice
*Provide effective support within a fast-paced duty service
*Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary partners and agencies
*Support individuals with complex needs, including mental health presentations
*Promote strengths-based practice and outcome-focused interventions
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
*Recognised Diploma / Degree in Social Work
*Social Work England registration
*Experience within Adult Community Teams and/or Mental Health Services
*Ability to work effectively in a busy duty setting
*Strong organisational and communication skills
