Mobile Core Design Specialist - Contract - 6 months - London - Inside IR35
My client, a leading global telecoms company is looking for an experienced Mobile Core/ Packet Core Design Specialist to support a major programme within their core network team. This is a hybrid London-based role requiring strong 4G/5G core expertise.
Key Skills
*Deep understanding of 3GPP 4G & 5G SA Packet Core standards
*Strong knowledge of core architecture, protocols & integration
*Experience with 4G interfaces (S1-MME/S1-U, S4, S6a, S5/S8, SGi)
*Experience with 5G SA interfaces (N2/N3/N4/N6, SBA)
*Understanding of NFVI, VNFs/CNFs; Kubernetes desirable
*Solid IP networking background
*Strong troubleshooting and config management skills
Role Overview
*Contribute to HLDs/LLDs for MME, GW-C/U, AMF, SMF, UPF
*Support integration with wider network architecture
*Provide troubleshooting across multi-vendor Packet Core
*Assist with test support and configuration management
