Due to continued growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen within the advisory team of a highly reputable firm of IFAs for a Financial Planner. The role will suit an experienced paraplanner seeking the next career step into an advisory role or a financial planner in the early stages of their advisory career.
Your new role
Working as part of a highly qualified team in a professional working environment. You will be provided with a client bank to service and develop, providing advice across the full range of financial planning through a combination of remote and face-to-face meetings and ongoing servicing support to your client bank. The key focus of this role is on servicing existing clients and will encompass conducting due diligence, research and analysis to ensure clients continue to be provided with advice suitable for their needs. You will also look to identify new business opportunities through client servicing. No sales targets. You will also have the opportunity to build strong working relationships with the firm’s professional introducers.
What you’ll need to succeed
Essential to have 5+ years’ experience in financial services and strong knowledge of financial planning and be Level 4 Diploma qualified with a desire to attain Chartered status if not already qualified. The role also requires strong relationship building skills, excellent communication skills and a passion for providing clients with the highest standards of service.
