Job Description:
Role: Senior Business Development Manager - Sponsorship
Location: Brighton (Hybrid - 3 days per week)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £45,000 per annum (OTE £70k)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Development Manager (Sponsorship) to join one of our longstanding clients, a global media group delivering high-impact content through events, digital, data, and insight.

The Requirements:
*Proven track record in B2B sponsorship sales, ideally within events, conferences, or media
*Experience closing complex, high-value deals with senior stakeholders and global brands
*Strong commercial acumen with a strategic mindset
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
*Experience mentoring or coaching junior sales colleagues
*Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
*Proactive, target-driven approach suited to fast-paced environments
*Flexibility to travel internationally and work varied hours when required
Key Responsibilities:
*Drive new sponsorship sales through proactive outreach and consultative selling
*Build and manage senior-level client relationships to secure repeat and long-term partnerships
*Achieve and exceed revenue targets across a portfolio of events
*Work closely with internal teams to deliver strong sponsor ROI
*Support and mentor junior sales team members
*Represent the business at events to strengthen relationships and drive renewals
