*£110 - £120 per day, depending on experience
*35 hours per week, Term Time only
*8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday
*Up to £120 per day for candidates with extensive experience or qualifications such as Teaching Assistant at NVQ Level 2 or above
Not only will you gain invaluable first-hand experience in a secondary school environment, you will also have the opportunity to network with Speech and Language specialists and ELSA practitioners based at the school. About the role
*Working in a mainstream secondary school that has a high number of pupils with SEND needs
*Deliver classroom support for Key Stage 3 pupils either 1:1 or groups of students
*Understand and support independent learning and inclusion of all students as required
*Support the teaching in monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress
*Monitor and manage stock and supplies for the classroom
*Supervise students between lessons and when entering and leaving the school
The right candidate
*Maths and English GCSE grade A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent
*Experience of working with young people, particularly those with SEND needs.
*Confident to converse with parents, students and members of the public
*Good ICT skills
