Job Description:
Job Summary
Are you an experience Payroller who has exposure to leading, mentoring and coaching a team or you maybe currently a Payroll Supervisor just looking for a new challenge, then please read on, this could be a lovely job for you.
Duties
*Supervise the daily payroll operations, ensuring all employees are paid accurately overseeing a team of 3 and also running payroll with them for weekly and lunar payrolls.
*Manage payroll data entry, verifying employee hours, deductions, and benefits
*Oversee the processing of accounts payable related to payroll expenses.
*Dealing with all queries and resolving and explaining to staff members in a customer service manner
*Coaching and driving the team with continuous improvement
*Collaborate with human resources to ensure correct employee information is maintained and updated within payroll systems.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation regarding employee remuneration and tax obligations.
*Prioritise teams daily workload
*Support HR & finance with payroll data
*Reporting
Skills
*Experience running weekly and monthly payrolls
*Experience coaching, leading and supporting a team
*Proven experience of continuous improvement
*Intermediate Excel (pivot tables, look ups)
*Good customer service manner for internal customers (staff) and a good, clear communicator
*Good knowledge of sick leave, parental pay and P11Ds
*Experience supporting and implementing projects
*CIPP desirable
