Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager – Life Science Events
London Office (Hybrid – 3 days in office) + Travel
Salary up to £60K base + OTE £100K+ | Uncapped Commission | Excellent Benefits
Key Requirements:
*4+ years’ B2B sponsorship sales experience in Life Science (or related) events
*Proven track record selling high-value deals (£30–50K+)
*Comfortable with ambitious revenue targets (~£800K+)
*Experience/Interest in selling sponsorship packages for large-scale European & North American Life Science conferences
About the Role
Are you a sponsorship sales professional who thrives on autonomy, creativity, and high earning potential? Do you enjoy designing bespoke solutions for clients and managing complex, high-value deals from start to finish?
As a Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will own sponsorship sales across a portfolio of leading international Life Science events. Partner with top-tier pharmaceutical, healthcare, and technology brands to deliver strategic, thought leadership-led experiences that help clients meet their business objectives. This role doesn’t come with people management responsibilities (but progression into leadership is achievable).
What You’ll Do
*Lead sponsorship sales across 3/4 large scale Life science focused events each year.
*Drive new business growth while managing and developing existing accounts.
*Meet your event revenue targets.
*Act as a consultative partner, understanding client objectives and crafting custom packages that align with their strategic priorities.
*Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional marketing solutions.
*Collaborate closely with the event production team to ensure each event reaches the right audience and delivers maximum impact.
*Engage senior decision-makers, including CEOs and other executives, to develop relationships and negotiate complex, multi-level deals.
What We’re Looking For
*At around 4 years of direct experience in B2B sponsorship sales within the conference sector, selling sponsorship packages for life science related conferences.
*Real commercial acumen – the ability to spot opportunities and create strategic solutions for clients.
*Excellent client engagement skills. Confident communicating with C-level executives, crafting compelling value propositions and business cases.
*An Entrepreneurial mindset, treating every client and account with a consultative, solutions focused new-business approach.
*Able to succeed independently while contributing positively within a team environment. Keen to learn.
*Able to respond to market changes and propose solutions over phone, video, or in-person meetings.
