Job Description:
Associate Director - London A Top 10 City firm is seeking a Senior Manager (Associate Director) to join its London office. The role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about business development, building strong client relationships, and coaching and developing teams. Working with clients across industries including consumer, technology, financial services, and private equity-backed businesses, the successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor and contribute to the growth of the client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities * Lead the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services for a portfolio of clients, collaborating with other service lines and liaising with Client Relationship Partners on advisory matters and client care.
* Play an active role in business development, including contributing to business plans, supporting lead generation, and identifying new client opportunities.
* Manage project working capital, including budgeting, cost oversight, billing, and debt recovery.
* Oversee the performance of the Accounting & Financial Reporting team, setting objectives and development plans for junior staff.
Candidate Profile * Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with experience managing a client portfolio.
* Expertise in complex UK GAAP reporting, including group reorganisations and consolidations.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting and current UK GAAP updates.
* Demonstrated passion for business development and building relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Experienced line manager with advanced coaching and development skills.
* Ability to quickly establish rapport with client principals and internal teams.
