Chalk Hill Group are supporting a Service provider, based in Wells, in their search for a detail-oriented Finance Officer to join a busy finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
**This role can be based from home the majority of the time, with only two days per month required in the office**
Key Responsibilities:
*Processing and allocating all incoming payments
*Posting cash, benefits and debtor invoices to finance systems
*Raising and issuing sales ledger invoices
*Administering and reconciling Direct Debits
*Preparing refunds and resolving unallocated or queried items
*Monitoring debtor accounts and supporting effective debt recovery
*Clearing suspense accounts and performing bank reconciliations
About You:
*Experience in a finance or transaction processing environment
*Confident using computerised accounts systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
*Strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail
*Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
*Professional communicator with a proactive, team-focused approach
*Committed to confidentiality, data protection and continuous improvement
