Fox Morris Group is working with Darlington Borough Council to recruit an experienced Family Group Conference (FGC) Facilitator. This role plays a key part in supporting the Council’s commitment to relational practice and family-led decision making.
You will work directly with families to help them create safe, sustainable and achievable plans for their children’s safety, wellbeing, and future.
Key Responsibilities*Facilitate high-quality Family Group Conferences, ensuring all relevant family members and professionals are fully included.
*Prepare families sensitively and effectively, building confidence and clarity ahead of the meeting.
*Support families to create meaningful, realistic Family Plans that reflect their strengths and solutions.
*Ensure the child’s voice, wishes, and needs remain at the centre of every decision.
*Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, maintaining Darlington’s strong relational practice model.
*Manage your own caseload professionally, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
*Produce clear, concise, and accurate reports following each FGC.
