About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Secondary RE Teacher to join a secondary school in the West Derby, L12 area. As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic educator to inspire and nurture students.
Secondary RE Teacher
Location: West Derby, L12
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term
Working Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Pay: Paid to scale
Key Responsibilities:
*Planning and delivering lessons: Designing and teaching lessons that explore religious traditions, moral values, and philosophical ideas
*Assessing student progress: Mark assignments, provide feedback, and track student performance to ensure learning objectives are met.
*Classroom management: Maintaining discipline and creating a safe, respectful learning environment
*Supporting student development: Mentor students, helping them develop both academic and life skills.
*Collaborating with parents and colleagues: Communicate with parents about student progress and work with fellow educators to improve teaching strategies.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
*Right to Work in the UK.
*Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
