The Role
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will:
*Take full responsibility for your class on your assigned 3 days
*Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum
*Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities
*Work closely with your TA to support all pupils, including any SEN needs
*Attend relevant staff meetings, INSET, and parent consultations on your working days
The school is seeking a teacher who is adaptable, organised, and confident in managing a small Year 2 class while maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour.
Requirements
The school is looking for someone who:
*Holds UK QTS
*Has experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2
*Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
*Can differentiate effectively for mixed-ability learners
*Works well as part of a team
*Is available for 3 days per week starting April 2026
Both experienced teachers and ECTs will be considered.
