Job Role: Teaching Assistant (NVQ Level 2)
Pay: £95 - £110 per day
Location: Bedford
Contract Type: Full Time

Aspire People are proud to be supporting a highly nurturing and well-regarded Special Educational Needs (SEND) provision in Bedford. The school is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and play a key role in supporting students who are unable to access mainstream education due to medical, social, or behavioural challenges.
This provision works closely with young people to help them re-engage with learning, develop social and emotional skills, and make positive steps towards transitioning back into a mainstream setting. Every day is different, and the rewards of seeing student progress are significant.
What We’re Looking For
* NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or substantial experience supporting young people with SEMH needs
* Ideally, experience working with students with Autism, communication difficulties, or behavioural needs in either a professional or personal capacity
* A patient, empathetic approach and a genuine commitment to helping young people succeed
* Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
