Description
Junior Accountant key recponsibilities:
*Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
*Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
*Support month-end and year-end close processes.
*Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and ledgers.
*Collaborate with the accounting team on budgeting and forecasting activities.
*Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
*Support audits and implement recommendations for financial improvements.
*Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
Profile
A successful Junior Accountant should have:
*Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
*Ambition, hard working, and a passion for career development.
*3/4 years of experience, preferably at AAT level 4.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*A proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving.
*The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
