The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting. This is a permanent or fixed-term opportunity, working with children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create a positive and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Promote children’s learning and development through play-based experiences
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers
• Ensure a safe, secure and inclusive learning environment
• Support children’s personal, social and emotional development
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high standards of care
Qualifications and Experience
• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Caring, patient and proactive approach
• Commitment to promoting equality and inclusion
