TIG Welder / Fabricator
*Permanent position
*Salary guide: £16.00 to £18.00 per hour, depending in experience, plus overtime rates
*Location: Basildon, Essex
A skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator is required to join a well-established Essex based engineering company who specialise in design and manufacture of high-quality stainless steel bespoke equipment.
It is essential for candidate to have experience of fabrication and welding stainless steel down to 1.0 mm and need to have a good understanding of engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
*TIG welding on stainless steel and other welding techniques to assemble parts with precision
*Ensure high-quality workmanship in the fabrication of sheet metal components.
*Metal finishing, polishing etc.
*Work from detailed engineering drawings to meet project specifications.
*Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards in the workplace.
*Assist in the testing and finishing of fabricated products
Required Qualifications & Skills:
*Extensive hands-on experience TIG welding and stainless steel fabrication processes.
*Strong mechanical knowledge.
*Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and welding equipment.
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
*Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
*Awareness of health and safety regulations.
*Relevant certifications in welding or fabrication are preferred.
Working Hours:
*40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8.00 AM to 4.30 PM with overtime opportunities.
