Job Description:
Year 4 (Bromyard, HR7)
Are you a patient educator with a knack for making learning feel safe and accessible? We are seeking a dedicated tutor to support a Year 4 student in Bromyard who requires a personalised, gentle approach to their core subjects.
The Role This position is specifically designed to support a student currently working approximately three years behind age expectations. The focus is on building confidence and foundational skills in a low-pressure environment.
* Start Date: Week commencing Monday, February 23rd.
* Schedule: 2 hours per week.
* Pay Rate: £30 per hour.
* Subjects: Literacy, Numeracy, and Science.
What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate isn’t just a subject expert; they are a calming presence who can adapt to the student’s pace.
* A Gentle Approach: You excel at creating a "shame-free" learning environment for students who find academic work challenging.
* Creative Engagement: Since the student loves animals, an ability to weave animal themes into Literacy, Numeracy, and Science tasks will be a huge advantage.
* Reliability: Consistency is key for this student’s progress.
Mandatory Requirements DBS Status: To be considered for this role, you must have a current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service. Please do not apply if you do not meet this specific requirement.
Location * Area: Bromyard, HR7.
* Local knowledge or a short commute is preferred to ensure long-term consistency for the student.
If you are a tutor who priorities the well-being of the child alongside their academic growth, we would love to hear from you.
