A leading construction business is looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to take ownership of day-to-day finance activity and deliver accurate reporting. This role suits someone proactive, detail-driven and confident working independently.
Your new role
*Manage POPs & SOPs
*Process and chase supplier invoices
*Enter petty cash and supplier transactions
*Prepare and run supplier payments
*Process payroll & post wage journals
*Administer pensions
*Prepare and submit monthly CIS
*Produce cash flow forecasts & monthly P&L
*Analyse costs and identify savings
*Complete VAT returns & bank reconciliations
*Assess credit applications & complete company checks
*Manage stock control
*Prepare product, factory and project costings
*Support project financial tracking
*Assist with system updates & daily backups
What you’ll need to succeed
*5+ years’ experience in a Management Accountant role
*Construction sector background - essential
*Strong CIS knowledge - mandatory
*Confident user of Sage Line 50
*Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
*High accuracy and strong organisational skills
*Comfortable working independently and managing multiple deadlines
