Temporary School Cleaner – DY11 Area
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Part-time)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-focused Temporary Cleaner to support a local school, providing cover for an employee currently on long-term sickness leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
*Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, staff areas, and communal spaces
*Ensuring all surfaces, floors, and high-touch areas are sanitised to school standards
*Emptying bins and managing waste disposal appropriately
*Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue
*Reporting any maintenance issues to site staff
*Working independently and efficiently within set timeframes
Requirements
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Essential)*If you do not currently hold one, Enhanced DBS with the update service will be required.

*Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment
*Good understanding of hygiene and health & safety standards
*Ability to work alone and follow instructions
*Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude
