Job Description:
We are working in partnership with an Ofsted ’Good’ 11-16 secondary school in Fleetwood, who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Art and Design Teacher. This is a full-time job to start in April to provide long-term cover until the end of the academic year.
Your new role
*Delivering engaging and creative Art and Design lessons.
*Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
*Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
*Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT’s welcome to apply.
*Enhanced DBS or willingness to work towards one.
*Recent experience teaching Art, DT, Textiles and/or Food at secondary school level.
*Behaviour/classroom management.
*Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
