Butler Rose : Management Accountant
Salary : £40,000 - £50,000 Plus Benefits
This is a rare opportunity to join a close-knit, community-driven organisation with a proud history and an exciting future. You will play a key role in supporting financial health, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability.
Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director and working closely with the Chief Executive, you will take ownership of the finance function and provide both strategic insight and hands-on operational support.
Key Responsibilities * Full responsibility for day-to-day financial operations

* Payroll administration

* Preparation and submission of VAT returns

* Production of monthly management accounts, including commentary and variance analysis

* Annual budgeting and cashflow forecasting

* Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations, including reporting and submissions

* Supervision and support of an existing bookkeeper

* Oversight of revenue operations, including systems and reconciliations

* Liaising with senior leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders

About You * Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) Will consider Part Qual / QBE

* Proven experience in a Management Accountant or Finance Manager role

* Experience across both practice and industry environments preferred

* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities

* Strong systems skills and advanced Excel capability (Sage experience advantageous)

* Hands-on approach, with the ability to operate strategically and operationally

* Flexible approach to working hours where operational presence is required

* Motivated to contribute to a values-led organisation serving its community
