?? Job Specification Role: Mental Health Nurse (CPN)
Contract Type: Interim
Location: Princess Buildings, HX1 1TS
Pay Rate: £25.00 - £35.00 per hour (DOE)
Overview We are seeking an experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to support a community mental health service based in Halifax. This is an interim assignment supporting adults with a range of complex mental health needs within a community setting.
Key Responsibilities * Managing a defined caseload within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT)
* Completing comprehensive mental health assessments
* Undertaking risk assessments and risk management planning
* Care coordination under CPA
* Supporting service users with severe and enduring mental health conditions
* Liaising with MDT colleagues including psychiatry, social work, OT and psychology
* Safeguarding and crisis management
* Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with NMC standards
Essential Requirements * Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
* Valid NMC registration
* Proven experience working as a CPN within a CMHT
* Strong risk assessment and care planning skills
* Experience working autonomously in the community
* Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and CPA processes
* Car driver (preferred for community visits)
