Paraplanner – Up to £40,000 (potentially higher for the right candidate)
Location: Stamford, UK (Hybrid – extremely flexible: 1–5 days in office)
Hours: 37.5 per week (core hours 9am–5pm, but very flexible)
A leading independent financial planning firm in Stamford is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a supportive, forward-thinking team. This vacancy exists due to internal progression, as a current Paraplanner is moving into an adviser role.
Key Responsibilities
*Produce high-quality, compliant suitability reports
*Conduct research across pensions, investments, protection & estate planning
*Support advisers with detailed analysis and cashflow modelling
*Maintain accurate client and back-office records
*Liaise closely with advisers to ensure recommendations meet client needs
Requirements
*Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards)
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in a financial planning or IFA environment
*Strong technical knowledge across core advice areas
*Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
*Professional, proactive, and positive attitude
*Experience with systems such as IO / FE Analytics (desirable)
*They would consider someone more senior without full Level 4 exams, or a strong senior IFA Administrator with report-writing experience
Salary & Benefits
*Up to £40,000, with potential to stretch higher for the right person
*Extremely flexible hybrid working — 1 day in the office, or 5, entirely your choice

*Christmas shutdown: depending on how it falls, this equates to an additional 5–10 paid days off
