CCTV Operator
*Hourly Rate: £25.98 (Umbrella) / £20.08 (PAYE)
*Location: Wembley, Middlesex
*Job Type: Working 36 hours per week, including weekends on a rolling shift rota basis
Day-to-day of the role:
*To assist in the operations of the Control Room 7 days a week and for ensuring that resources are deployed to facilitate effective service delivery
*To support civil contingencies arrangements. To assist as necessary in times of urgency
*To operate the Closed Circuit Television systems, and ensure delivery of an effective CCTV service and to co-operate with outside agencies in relation to CCTV information and evidence in line with Data Protection and Human Rights legislation.
*To ensure the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained is secure at all times by compliance with appropriate legislation (such as the Data Protection Act 1998) and the Council’s CCTV code of practice, and in line with ICO code of practice and SCC code of practice
The successful candidate will need:
*To have worked in a Local Authority Public Safety CCTV control room
*Have used Police radios
*Hold a valid SIA CCTV Licence
*Be competent in the use of Microsoft Office – specifically Excel and Word
