Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN allowance (dependent on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking specialist provision in Halifax. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning needs.
You will play a key role in providing highpersonalised teaching that enables every learner to make meaningful progressacademically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
Work closely with the SENCO and support staff to deliver EHCP targets
Create a nurturing, inclusive and safe learning environment
Use a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour and emotional regulation
Develop strong relationships with pupils, families and external agencies
Track progress and maintain accurate records
Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold safeguarding standards

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching pupils with SEN (specialist or mainstream setting)
Strong understanding of SEND teaching strategies and behaviour support
Calm, resilient and able to adapt to changing needs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers and succeed
