Job Description:
Veritas Education is working closely with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Kirklees area who are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Science Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
The Role *Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum
*Plan, prepare, and assess work to support pupil progress
*Teach across KS3 and KS4, with specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed
*Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
*Work collaboratively with the department and wider school team
*Uphold the professional standards set by the Department for Education (DfE)
What We’re Looking For *Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching qualification
*Strong subject knowledge in Science
*A commitment to supporting pupil achievement and well-being
*Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
*Reliability, professionalism, and a positive classroom presence
