Catering Supervisor - Job Description
The Catering Supervisor will be responsible for providing an efficient and high standard of service.
You will be required to be adaptable to work within all areas of the operation and will grasp this as an opportunity to demonstrate your versatility. You will be required to assist in the preparation of various bar snacks and wait on our members and guests. As a Catering Supervisor you will need to be welcoming, efficient and have a positive attitude towards our members, guests, colleagues and staff.
You must have previous experience within a Food & Beverage Operation and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in your delivery of customer service and operational standards.
As Catering Supervisor you will be impeccably presented, polite and focused on providing our members and guests with warm hospitality, leaving them with a memorable experience of their time spent at the Golf Club.
You will be expected to communicate at all levels within the business including personnel, Members and guests. Flexibility regarding hours of work is essential.
Qualities must include reliability, punctuality, and the desire to progress in this industry, taking advantage of quieter times to help improve service standards.
Hours : 40 per week working 5 out of 7. You will be expected to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis but flexibility is offered. Hours may vary due to seasonal fluctuations but shifts would normally be 8-4 or 2pm -10pm but again flexibility is offered
Catering Supervisor - The Job Specification
*To assist in the preparation and serving of bar snack meals and the service of event meals
*To clear down tables and ensure all dining areas are presented impeccably
*To ensure Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all times
*To assist in the storage and rotation of stock, ensuring all hygiene and food safety standards are met at all times
*Lead a small team in the absence of the Catering Manager and Assistant Catering Manager
This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and the successful candidate will be expected to assist the Catering Manager where required and requested.
