A welcoming and supportive primary school in Camberley is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract starting in April.

About the Role
As the Primary Teacher on maternity cover, you will take responsibility for a class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support pupil’s academic and personal development. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
The role is suited to teachers with experience or interest in Key Stage 1, depending on the school’s needs.

Responsibilities:
*Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS1
*Confidently manage classroom behaviour using positive strategies
*Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines
*Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
*Build strong working relationships with pupils and staff
*Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
Requirements - To apply, you must have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Recent UK teaching experience within a primary school
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
*A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
*Ability to commute to Camberley
Desirable Experience:
*Teaching experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
*Ability to adapt lessons to meet different learner needs
*Experience supporting SEND pupils
*Strong communication and organisational skills
