Description
*Process invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
*Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
*Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in the accounting system.
*Assist with month-end processes and reporting as required.
*Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to address queries.
*Support the Accounting & Finance team with additional administrative tasks.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
*Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable should have:
*Experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role within the Not For Profit sector.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
*Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues.
Job Offer
*An hourly rate of £12.00 to £14.00, paid on a temporary basis.
