Hours: 37 per week (between 8am–8pm, Monday–Friday)

*PAYE: £12.76 per hour
*Umbrella/Ltd: £16.49 per hour
Ribble Recruitment is supporting a County Council with the appointment of 4 Customer Service Advisors to join the Adult Care Team within the Care & Wellbeing Hub.
This is a front-line contact centre role and will suit candidates experienced in high-volume, complex customer environments.
The RoleYou will act as the First Point of Contact for Adult Care and Wellbeing services, managing inbound calls and emails from members of the public and professionals.
Contacts may involve:
*Adult social care enquiries
*Safeguarding concerns
*Requests for care assessments
*Carer support enquiries
*Wellbeing service referrals
Calls can be sensitive and emotive. You will use a strength-based approach, professional curiosity, and structured call control techniques to gather accurate information and determine the appropriate outcome.
You will be required to type and talk simultaneously, inputting data directly into internal systems while managing live calls.
Key Responsibilities*Handling high-volume inbound calls and emails
*Conducting strength-based conversations to promote independence
*Capturing accurate, real-time case notes
*Identifying safeguarding risks and escalating appropriately
*Signposting to relevant services
*Working collaboratively with Adult Care teams
*Maintaining confidentiality and GDPR compliance
*Delivering service standards within strict performance targets
About You*Experience within a busy Customer Service Centre or Contact Centre environment
*Confident handling sensitive or challenging conversations
*Strong IT skills with accurate typing ability
*Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
*Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
*Flexible to work between 8am and 8pm
Experience within Adult Social Care or a public sector setting is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided.
