JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Supervisor
LOCATION: Swindon, Wiltshire
SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000
WAY OF WORKING: Full Time | Hybrid | Permanent
THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SUPERVISOR OPPORTUNITY:
*Manage the accounts payable team
*Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
*Code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts and cost centres
*Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs (BACS/cheque/online payments)
*Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records
*Assist with month-end close processes, including accruals and reporting
*Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls
YOUR KEY SKILLS:
*Experience leading a team
*Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance role
*Good understanding of basic accounting principles
*Experience using accounting software
*Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
*Good organisational and time management skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
