Software Engineer (PHP)
Exeter - Hybrid
Up to £50,000 per annum + benefits
Are you a PHP engineer looking for a role where you can solve real problems, work with experienced developers and have room to grow?
A fast-growing SaaS company is searching for a midlevel Software Engineer to join their backend team in Exeter. Their platform helps organisations in construction and field services move from slow, paper-based processes to smart digital workflows.
This role is all about backend engineering. You’ll fix complex issues, improve performance, build new features and work closely with a strong senior team. Expect intricate business logic, interesting challenges and a supportive culture. There is no on-call work and almost no client interaction, thanks to a dedicated support function.
What you need:- solid commercial PHP experience, strong debugging ability, and confidence working with backend logic. Symfony is helpful but not essential.
In return, you’ll join a friendly engineering group, contribute to a platform that is scaling quickly and have clear opportunities to progress as the team continues to grow.
